Hi friends! I hope that your week was filled with so much love. April has come and gone, and Spring is doing her thing. Life + light trickle back into everything around us, and we emerge from our winter hibernation. Colour has flooded my world, and I've got a great big smile on my face.

I just wanted to stop in and share a few photos from my week. You should follow along with me on Instagram (I post daily as photolexx). I'm doing a 365 Photo project, and I've been having a lot of fun with it.

Can we talk about how badly I want one of these guys? Seriously, how fun is this Vespa? It's my dream ride. I've spotted it around my neighbourhood before, but this time, I had to stop and snap a photo. One day, I will buy my own and scoot around in the sunshine.

I've been in desperate need of a new pair of kicks for Spring. I picked up these Clarks Desert Aerial Boots on Newbury Street (on sale), and I think they will serve me quite well. These boots are lightweight + airy (not to mention, cute), and will carry over seamlessly into the hazy days of summer.

I'm not going to lie, I love coffee. Caffeination of all forms really. In an effort to drink less Diet Coke (because, yes, I know, it's terrible for you), I've become something of an americano addict. I guess there are worse habits to have. Plus, my home brew cuppa joe makes for the prettiest of pictures, doesn't it? I'm also loving the Daniel Wellington watch my mom got me for my birthday! Yay, for being a grown up who completes their taxes on time, and wears a watch!

And here's a selfie for good measure, because well - my lipstick is called Crazy in Love, and I did my hair that day. And the colour of my shirt is rad too. If there was any day to feel like Queen Bey, it was this one. Lipstick induced hyper-confidence, don't mind if I do. And look - my glasses! I can see again friends, and it's glorious. I can read all the street signs and everything.

Wow, it's been ages since I last posted, hasn't it?

I hate saying that, 'I've been busy", so let's just say, I've been stuck in a never-ending loop of paperwork (taxes + immigration). Here's hoping I escape soon (don't worry folks, the end is near)!

If you didn't catch it, I wrote about our trip to Itacaré, Brazil on Mass Musings, a couple of weeks ago. I've been all over the place lately, and forgot to mention it here - so go go go take a look at the post! I urge you to visit Itacaré if you ever get the chance, it's such an amazing little piece of paradise.

So... I'm back in Boston. Back in my (slightly revamped) yoga space. Back with my main men. Back to writing (a whole lot). And always taking lots of photographs (which makes me so unbelievably happy).

I've been travelling a lot since November, and I'm looking forward to slowing down. Right now, I am exactly where I need to be.

I have a lot of posts in the works (for YYZ to BOS, and Mass Musings), and I can't wait to share them all with you. If you can't wait, you can find me posting daily on Instagram (I'm photolexx).
