Let it be known that I am terrible at blogging my work. In fact, I don't I have ever done a post like this, and I'm not really sure why. Well, hang onto your hats kids, because that's about to change!

I want to be able to share work with you without having to overhaul my portfolio page, because that's annoying (though I really have to do that too).

Here are some photos (there were many more) of my beautiful friend, Kayte Demont. We took them in West Hollywood when I first moved to LA a few months ago.

Kayte's an inspiring creative, and the founder of Mass Musings. Seriously though, you don't even know how much I love collaborating with this lady! We met while living in Boston, and became fast friends when I started contributing articles to her blog a couple of years ago.

I'm going to miss our frequent photo shoots now that she's moved to Denver, CO. Miss you already, girl!

Hey friends, back with another #12DaysofDarling photo. This one is from yesterday. Can you tell yet that I'm loving my seamless backdrop paper? Best $20 I have spent in a long while.

The prompt was "something re(a)d", so I dug out one of my favourite books, "Love is a Mixtape", by Rolling Stone rock journalist, Rob Sheffield. This book may or may not have been responsible for my ill-fated cassette tape tattoo from my 19th year.

I obviously haven't stuck with posting the photos here everyday, but I've certainly been a lot more present. So you can't blame a girl for trying! I've been sick with the flu for a few days, and I'm finally starting to feel like myself again. So much to do to get ready for the holidays and our upcoming trips to Toronto + Sao Paulo. You can see my whole #12DaysofDarling series on my Instagram page if you're interested! I'm having fun with the project.

Anyways, I'm about to unroll my mat for the first time since Sunday, and I'm looking forward to getting a little slow + soulful stretch on. I hope that your practice today creates balance in your life.
