Guys - July is already over. How did that even happen? I've been freelancing full-time for just over a year now. I can't believe how quickly time flies by (when you're having fun)!

On today's post - sometimes things don't go as planned. I had wanted to do a WANDERLUST post today, but unfortunately it seems that my photographs from Miami have disappeared (for the time being). That led to a minor freakout. As I was digging through my archives of photographs, I came across the one below. It's part of a series/installation I did in art school called, "Sleepyhead: 100 Days of Sleep". I don't know why but I've always kind of liked this image. It's one of the rare sightings of my neck tattoo.

I couldn't sleep last night, so needless to say I am beyond tired right now. It doesn't help that today was grey and rainy. However, on a lighter note - I'm glad I found this photo! And I'm excited for what's coming up! I have some big plans, and I can't wait to get started on some new projects.

Hey guys! So today I wanted to share a set of photos that I took almost a year and a half ago, but have recently made their way into my editing queue. My long-time friend (we are talking friends since birth here), Maria, is a fitness model, and approached me about doing a shoot. Before I show you the images, I just want to say how inspiring Maria is. She has worked SO hard. She had a goal, and she went for it. And I am so proud of her. She is strong, amazing, and beautiful inside, and out!

She wanted to shoot a few different looks, but I didn't share all of them. But anyways - a million years later, here they are. I'm pretty happy with them. I am enjoying the versatility of digital imaging right now. I think it's great that I can change my images from colour to black and white with just a couple of clicks, and create an incredibly different mood. I don't know why I resisted for so long. I'm just a film snob I guess.
