Tuned In

​Welcome to the second POLKA DOTTED PIXELS, Tuned In post!  Continuing with The EMO Project​, here is Poster #2.

This second poster is inspired by one of my favourite bands ever, Brand New.  I've been listening to this band, for jeez, over 10 years now.  I feel so old, haha.  But seriously, I've watched the band grow and progress (and seen them live about 6 times) over the course of the last decade, and it's so interesting to see how their sound has changed. SOCO AMARETTO LIME ​is the last song on Brand New's first album, YOUR FAVORITE WEAPON​.  It always kind of makes me sad - the song is about nostalgia - but also brings up old feelings for me.  However, I love it nonetheless.

COLOUR CRUSH: Coral

COLOUR CRUSH #2: CORAL!  

Spring is almost here, I can feel it!  I'm feeling inspired by all things coral these days, so feast your eyes upon these bright beauties.​

I've been using coral in a lot of design work lately, more specifically in my personal branding.  It's fun, but not toooooooo girly - which I like.  Just a little bit of pink!​
